Abandon all hope of finding reality here, that's not what this movie is about. Isn't either the regular horror movie. Yes, there's some details here and there, yet again, not what the movie is about.
What it is, a trip into the protagonist's -and therefore Getty's- broken mind in so many senses, right from the opening, with that depiction of a dream as I can't remember in any other movie.
This film is flawed as dreams are flawed, full of subplots with no ending, characters with no purpose and things happening for no reason. Just like any other dream.
