I have to admit that The Evil Dead DID freak me out! It didn't seem like it was going to be THAT mentally disturbing to me but I have to admit, although it is funny some of it scared me. I'd hate to have one of those demons knocking at my door! Their laughs are so malevolent! The gore was amazing, low-budget grossness always makes me feel more ill than the CGI stuff, the end is just so over the top its good.
The beginning seemed like it was going nowhere for a short while, perhaps the first half an hour but after that shit went down and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
