An amazing feat for a first time major production for Sam Raimi, this movie brutally drags you into that accursed cabin along with Ash, and makes you feel like there is no hope. Hilarious and disturbing, the ridiculous amounts of gore and retro horror camp pull this film to the top of my loves in horror.
A true masterpiece made from disaster.
