Review of The Evil Dead (1981) by Jacob B — 21 Dec 2012
Sam Raimi's name may have been tainted by the spider-man franchise, but most forget that he's responsible for the masterpiece of horror known as The Evil Dead. The evil dead provides an entertaining horror movie with disturbing scares, and a charming low budget feeling that I can't help but fall in love with.
Ash, played by Bruce Campbell doesn't say much during the movie, but you'll find that you feel engaged with the character anyhow. Very good film making. I applaud you, Sam Raimi.
