Review of The Evil Dead (1981) by Grant L — 25 Feb 2013

I just saw this movie for the first time in a decade. This movie had me laughing, which is not a bad thing. The problem is I was laughing at the movie and not with it. Not the slightest bit of horror. It was just so bad that it was funny.

I know that this movie is fiercely loved by many which had me thinking that maybe I had the wrong movie. Sadly that was not the case. Human flesh covered evil books are not easily mistaken. I even watched it a second time thinking I must be missing something.

I would like to say one good thing about this film and the only thought I can come up with is at least it was short.
