I think this is the first cabin horror film but I'm still not sure. This movie made me laugh many times even though it wasn't on purpose, the film is also shockingly gory. By the end of the movie almost gallons of blood had been shed.
As the movie progresses 'Ash' slowly descends into madness pushing him to fight the undead. I think almost every horror fan can appreciate The evil dead. Lets just hope the new remake is just as good, if not, better.
