Review of The Evil Dead (1981) by Geraldo G — 14 Apr 2013
While it's not a perfect film, I guess we can't expect from then amateur Sam Raimi. The Evil Dead is successfully creppy and scary, and sometimes with some good humor while providing suspence, anguish and terror at the same time and all mixed up perfectly.
Do I recommend it? Well, there's the bad point, it's a film I can't recommend to everyone because not everyone will appreciate it. But, if you take on mind the low-budget film by an amateur in 1981, then you're welcome.
