I liked the storyline for this one. Obviously the effects are not the greatest by todays standards, but you gotta love the stopmotion/claymation effects for being so wonderfully awful. Not that a classic should ever be compared to its remake, but I would say that this one creeped me out more than the 2013 remake, but I did not have nearly as many knee-jerk reactions watching this one because of nasty gory stuff.
... with the exception of the tree/forest rape scene. It is still the hands down most disturbing part....and to my unfortunate surprise I think is was even more disturbing in this one.
