Review of The Evil Dead (1981) by Leo B — 17 May 2013
Enjoyable ride of absurd gore, sadistic humour, and a plainly predictable storyline (even through the odd happenings). Through the crummy acting, to the downright disgusting decomposition of the characters, The Evil Dead clearly deserves its cult standing due to the perfect blend of horror-humour.
A progressively weirder, yet wonderful horror.
