Review of The Evil Dead (1981) by Nik M — 27 May 2013
Sam Raimi's early Evil Dead film is low budget filmmaking at its finest with stylishly gloomy atmospheres, lighting, and such an excessive amount of gore that it simply can't help itself from delivering the terrors and laughs all at the same time.
Executed well with a consistent plot structure despite the expected bad acting and cliche dialogue.
