Review of The Evil Dead (1981) by Eduardo A — 03 Jun 2016
A great horror film, with wonderful direction, photography, script and with the fabulous splatter effects (despite a tight budget). The first Sam Raimi's film is a masterpiece of horror, where the ancient demons of the Necronomicon play and possess humans as toys, which make them kill each other, in a bad situation, cruel, ruthless and with flashes of black humor .
A film made on a shoestring, but with so much love, passion, imagination and intelligence, by a group of young boys in the early 80s.
