Not as lurid as the cover art would lead you to believe, this actually has a surprising amount of heart to it. Entirely predictable, of course, and most of the supporting actors look like they are in a high school play. But the two leads are charming enough to make the most of a pretty average script. It's worth a watch on a free streaming service.
