Review of The Equalizer (2014) by Critic-Critic — 26 Sep 2014

Now this was a GREAT RIDE. No disrespect to what Stallone is doing over on "The Expendables", but this was much more interesting. I loved what Denzel brought to the screen and he DELIVERS great action sequences here.

Chloe did such a great job developing her character and drawing you into why Denzel's character would connect with her the way he did. Martin as the villain was phenomenal, he was smart and he definitely pulled no punches.

I would like to say that this film is very well constructed. It's not for the audience member that just wants to see stuff blow up for no reason, it's smart, dark, and hits all the right notes. Well done Denzel, you never fail.
