This is the best R rated action movie in a LONG ass time period (or full stop as we say in NZ). I'm assuming that the haters don't like action movies..? If so then don't watch action movies!
This movie has it all (as an action movie), that nice slow pace intro, the older retired from (spoiler alert?) "service" guy, that ass kicking first reveal or his skill scene etc. Add the really good cinematography, good soundtrack, not over bearing score and Denzel's charm and you get what this is...a near perfect Action Movie.
Oh and the Villain is a Kiwi too....so that's bonus points lol.
I never give perfect 10 rating...but I am tempted with this movie and I may have if the last 10 minutes or so weren't slightly off.
