The Equalizer was a knockout. Washington was brilliant and Mortez was mesmerizing. The action is by far, the best I saw in 2014. Director Antione Faqua, who brought us action marvel- Olympus Has Fallen and tense thriller- Training Day, comes with a story of a man with a violent past trying to settle down in his new job, while getting tangled with Russian mobsters along the way.
The dynamic performance by Denzel Washington is what holds this movie together, along with the action. The Equalizer is a powerhouse movie, that deserves a buy on BluRay.
