Review of The Equalizer (2014) by Brainstorm123 — 31 May 2015
Denzel can etch another mark into his decorated career with The Equalizer; which is the best film and best thriller of 2014. I think that, while it takes a while to take off, when it gets going the story is very compelling, and draws you in.
The action sequences are very well thought out, and amazing to watch. The best being the hardware store scene. Not to mention that the soundtrack is superb. Denzel offers a memorable take on the classic in the English series, with a stellar performance.
He even packs in some intelligent humour. Overall, this is an action film that will have you hooked until the end.
