Review of The Equalizer (2014) by Toupheng V — 18 Feb 2015
The Equalizer is a decent movie based on an 80's tv show starring Edward Woodward. It changes the plot of course since that's what Hollywood does. And Denzel is great but his films that aren't remakes are better.
The Equalizer pretty much just trudges along after Denzel helps a hooker friend played by Chloe Moretz. He then gets targeted by Russian gangsters. But first he's's either lazily thrown in the middle of robberies or just there when crooked cops are bullying businesses for pay offs.
What's better Training Day or Taking Pelham 123, Flight or the Bishops Wife ? lol. And apparently he wants to do a Magnificent Seven remake. When all the original films written for him in particular are much better. He's too good of a actor to be on to his 5th remake after this.
