I hate to say it, but move aside Neeson! Denzel is not here to play around and boy does he show it. While going both fast and slow, The Equalizer manages to keep a steadiness to its storytelling that is only amplified with delightful gore and Chloe Grace Moretz's rising star power.
The best part is the heart that is shown among all the action.
