Review of The Equalizer (2014) by Candice C — 23 Feb 2015

I thought this was an awesome role for Denzel, doin' some serious ass kicking. I wasn't sure about the movie, but after watching it I felt like it definitely did its job - it entertained me. And, Denzel's role was perfect for him.

The only thing thing was that some of the storyline and plot points needed to be flushed out a little more, needed some additional information, needed to tie up a few things and this film would have been a 5 for me.

For me, there were pretty glaring errors in the story, which I wish that someone would have told the writer/producers. This could have been a 5 star for me, but since it lacked some finesse its a 4. But, if you like action films, definitely give this one a try.

Denzel kicks ass and is always easy to watch ;).
