Review of The Equalizer (2014) by Ilsa W — 06 Jun 2015
Yep it wasn't a lot like the 80s TV show which I used to love, but this was an up to date much more hardcore version which worked brilliantly. Washington is at his believable, intense best and carries this movie from start to finish.
The final sequence inside the DIY store was brilliantly tense and the violent scenes were stylishly shot. Let's face it watching Denzel kick ass is always a pleasurable experience!
