Despite outstanding performances by Denzel Washington and great fight scenes, The Equalizer is a theme that it has been exhaustively worked on cinema, and perhaps if Mission Impossible, James Bond, Matrix or Sherlock Holmes hadn't been made before, this movie wouldn't considered as unoriginal as it ends being, and furthermore, despite its promising star, it has a little boring direction followed by a predictable end.
