Review of The Equalizer (2014) by Daniel S — 04 Nov 2015

I never saw the original TV series this is based off, and wasn't too excited based on the trailer, but after all the good reviews I decided to check it out, it's definitely top notch on a technical and acting level, this isn't some quickly thrown together action film, a lot of big names occupy even small roles, and they take lots of time to develop the characters, it's also interesting to see the hero never fire a gun once, Denzel is one of our best working leading men, and this is no exception, just as stoic and charismatic as ever, some well done action scenes too, for fans of action films this is worth checking out.
