Review of The Equalizer (2014) by Isadore H — 31 May 2016

Denzel Washington does a great job in this one, playing an old, retired military officer or something (it wasn't specified) who is trying to live a normal life now, but finds out about an underground Russian mafia that is causing chaos in the city.

I loved the villain in The Equalizer, he was unnerving and intimidating, and he was a great enemy for Washingtons character to fight. Overall, not the greatest movie ever, but it is competent enough and has good enough pacing and action to keep you entertained.
