Denzel Washington Plays The Equalizer a movie brought to you by the same director as Training Day.

This tale introduces us to Mcall a retired kinda special ops or FBI whatever agency he was part of is never clear in the movie but he comes out of retirement to kick some Russian mafia gangster asses and does not stop until he gets to the head of the snake.

It is a good Denzel movie but a tad too long and most of the movie is shot at night and it is too dark and many scenes you cannot see characters well.

The movie is very violent and is not for everyone although you do not see much blood you have to hear a lot of sound effects of bones breaking and people dying.

There is a supporting cast but it's really all about Denzel the only other well-known actor is Bill Paulman and he plays an old friend and only has like 5 to 10 mins screen time but does nothing for the movie to go forward.

Both my wife and eye were kinda annoyed at certain main gaps that the movie had but still managed to get through this.

The movie is long and not for everyone not for the kiddies at all.

However without spoiling anything there will be a part 2.
