It's a known fact that I can't dislike one minute of a Denzel Washington's film, The Equalizer 2 is no exception, I mean talk about grip, Washington's charisma is on full display here, granted the plot was obviously not original, not by a damn sight but Denzel goes through it so smoothly and it's a joy to watch, the best way to describe it is hypnotic.
Is it weird for me to say that Denzel's performance tops the movie itself, it doesn't make any sense I know but take him out of the equation and you're left with an excruciatingly cliched movie that no one will talk about, harsh I know, but the truth should always be told.
