A mess. I enjoyed the first one as an update of the TV show and Denzel fit the role nicely. This sequel has no particular focus and the pacing is tedious. It wakes up a bit when it's finally revealed who the villains actually are and the movie recognizes that all sorts of moral conflicts have come into play.
Unfortunately it does nothing to explore those moral conflicts and just throws together a noisy action set piece to pointlessly end it all.
