Review of The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain (1995) by Santosh N — 13 Sep 2009
Cute little movie, authentic and accurate. Fitzgerald just doesn't get 'common' enough - it's always obvious she's going to Fit-Hugh perfectly. Zeta-Jones, authentic welsh commoner, could have been typecast for the plump tarty barmaid.
Grant as the shy object-of-desire is brilliant.
So charming it cannot fail to entertain, and anyone who's offended clearly needs it.
