The film started off great, especially since it stared Nathan Lane from the movie Mouse Hunt. He's a brilliant actor. The movie seemed like it had the potential of being great but sadly the story plot gets way out of hand, and the director had to throw in unrealistic stupid characters to ruin such a beautiful story.
How hard is it to keep all the characters unique, smart and educated, instead of adding these ridiculous kill joys. I don't know....the story got really depressing and disappointed me. The movie was okay, definitely worth checking out at least once, but I doubt I'd watch it again.
