I love the opening sequence of this film where the sand looks like a body. This is a beautiful adaptation of a very confusing book. It's about every kind of love there is. How poor are we, now we no longer have Anthony Minghella to tell us his stories? Brilliant performances by a lot of famous people before they were famous.
Naveen Andrews who Lost fans will recognize as Sayid is fantastic. The editing and cinematography in this film are amazing. It's well worth revisiting from time to time.
