Review of The English Patient (1996) by Lasse C — 16 Feb 2009
Beautifully filmed and gloriously epic but the story is sadly full of irrelevant sidestories that do nothing but detract from the otherwise decent main story. Also some of the acting seemed stiff. I was a little disappointed by Willem Dafoe whom I usually like.
