Review of The English Patient (1996) by Omar A — 21 Sep 2009
Iâ??ve not read Michael Ondaatjeâ??s source novel but I understand that it has been faithfully translated to the big screen by Saul Zaentz and Anthony Minghella. I do hope to read the book before I die as I believe it would be better, if not as good as the movie itself.
The love between a man and a woman is told beautifully through fine acting by the leads and breathtaking cinematography by John Seale.
