Not many films are well adapted from books as is this one... if you read the book and watch the film you realized it it's extremely well done.... The story of love of the past and the story of war of the present are well mingled along the script and the actors are excellent! A worth-watching film that would make you feel excited, marvelled and probably would make you cry!
