Review of The English Patient (1996) by Leighton T — 28 Feb 2010
The technical and visual aspects are all phenomenal and the performances are terrific, especially Ralph Fiennes, but the story feels disjointed in way I cannot fully expound upon. I feel like in certain parts the storytelling was vigorous and in other parts it dragged.
Nonetheless, it's a beautiful and romantic film.
