A brilliant film directed by Anthony Minghella that scooped no less than 9 Oscars in 1997, including Best Picture. A very strong cast supports a fine story of love, loss, deception and betrayal during the German occupation of North Africa in the early 1940s.
And what a cast - Ralph Fiennes, Colin Firth, Willem Dafoe, Kristin Scott Thomas and the gorgeous Juliette Binoche. A must see.
