Review of The English Patient (1996) by Elliott F — 11 Oct 2010
The English Patient is a strikingly poetic film experience. Anthony Minghella has composed a complex, intricately layered series of events that flow in a nonlinear format, and as a result, it takes a couple of times to watch this film to completely grasp the nature of it.
The entire cast is pitch-perfect as they bare their emotions raw in front of the camera. A deeply moving film.
