The gorgeous scenery and cinematography only add to the exceptional cast of The English Patient. This 9 time academy award winning film portrays the love story that ends in tragedy as so many others do.
The fabulous acting from the cast won Juliette Binoche an Oscar, and Ralph Fiennes a nomination. The English Patient is a must see film for the film and drama lovers. Ralph Fiennes is at his best as are Kristen Scott Thomas and Willem DaFoe.
This world war 2 based tragedy shows terrific sights of the deserts all through Europe and the incredible direction earned Anthony Minghella an Oscar. Though long and sometimes overdone, the film still gives us the fabulous performances and screenshots that will make us remember it.
