Review of The Enemy Below (1957) by Ben S — 09 May 2017
Not quite 'Das Boot' but certainly ranks among the very best Submarine movies. This is in no small part to the two excellent leads, Mitchum and Jurgens who play war-weary Destroyer Captain and U-boat commander respectively.
Anti-Nazi, anti-war and surprisingly graphic for the time - a must see war movie for film-lovers.
