Review of The End of the Tour (2015) by Patrick W — 22 Aug 2015
Lets play a drinking game. Everytime you see a copy of "Primary Colors" drink. This a rare movie where 2 people talk and converse for 90 minutes and the audience stays tuned in. Yet Jesse Eisenberg reminds me why I hate Jimmy Falon and that is what makes his performance good despite his action figure size (hence why they are always sitting or away from eachother).
The biggest issue I have with this movie is that the director does not let the audience understand the issues or points that are bing made. every 10 minutes after a discussion between the characters an explanation of what the audience should have learned or observed happens.
Maybe my problem is that I watched too much tv in the 80s and 90s and have an uncanny ability to predict what will happen. it is worth seeing,.
