Review of The End of the Tour (2015) by Crissean A — 18 Apr 2016
I don't think I've ever quite loved anything the way I fell in love with this film. It felt genuine and extraordinary all the same time. There is something quite remarkable about the humane tone of telling in which the story moved.
Jason Segel was very moving and endearing as David Foster Wallace and Jesse Eisenberg was captivating as David Lipsky. The dynamic and chemistry was beyond what I had hoped for between two intelligent and literary persons.
It was a really good film in that all the elements melted into an effort to tell the story. I was enthralled the entire time. I'm only sad that I wouldn't find something with the similar impact it has left on me.
