Let me start by saying I'm not at all familiar with the life and times of David Wallace. Maybe if you're a huge fan of his this movie would have real sentimental value. As a story, I don't know that this needed to be made into a film. If you want to see a story about a friendship between two guys it's much better to watch I Love You Man also starring Jason Segel which.
is much less pretentious and really fun to watch.
