Why did I take so long to watch this film? This is an amazing film that everybody should see. Segel and Eisenberg are electric in the lead roles, they provide the strength of the film and the filmmaker does not get in the way of such an interesting story.
Both actors deserved to enjoy award success, this film is exactly why independent cinema is leagues in front of Hollywood commerical award films. This is a smart and intelligent film that has so many layers it grows uncomfortable to watch as these two similiar characters get on each others nerves.
James Ponsoldt is a face to watch in the indie scene and this is one of the best films of 2015, it will be added to my list when I get to 2015 for my revamp list on instagram. 13/10/2018.
