Review of The End Is My Beginning (2010) by Adam N — 05 Apr 2011
It is very hard to tell my opinion about this movie. I mean the life of Mr. Terzani was extraordinary, this is the old Tiziano who talk about his life with his son. Stop. It is interesting, but a little reductive.
It is more a philosophical story; they tell a lot, but one when is like me who is sleepy, needs some action, all these words are difficult to be understood. In fact amongs comments I read on the internet, the one I liked the most was The Book is Better.
I have not read the book but I share this opinion. The picks of the movie are when Terzani-Ganz attacks the the Maoism and the economy at the same time. For instance he says that China is going to be like Hong Kong, the Modern China is no more China.
Globalization kills the spirit of a great Folk. I strongly believe this, even if I could be a victim of consumerism, like all my facebook friend whose life seems to develop not into the world, but in a Shopping Centre.
