The Enchanted Cottage is a touching film. It is about a homely maid and a scarred ex-GI who fall in love with each other. Dorothy McGuire and Robert Young give excellent performances. The screenplay is well written.
John Cromwell did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this movie because of the drama and romance. The Enchanted Cottage is a must see.
