Better than most films of the 80s in terms of visuals, but I believe A New Hope was more emotional to me. I have never been a huge fan of the Star Wars series and although this is slightly dark, I did not feel that it was as dark as Star Wars 3. I would have liked it more had I not seen the series in its chronological order.
