Review of The Empire Strikes Back (1980) by Johnny K — 04 Jan 2016
The Empire Strikes Back is a film I consider perfect. It is better written, more quotable and more well-acted than all other Star Wars films, has just as memorable music as the very first Star Wars, and balances its darker tone with an atmosphere of fun. It also holds up well visually. I wouldn't be surprised if I go to the grave without seeing a better Star Wars film than The Empire Strikes Back. Verdict: A+.
