Review of The Emperor's New Groove (2000) by Todd V — 31 Oct 2009
The humor has finally worn off, I think. I just can't forget how I felt when I saw this in the theaters. This is definitely one of my most memorable movie-going experiences. My sisters and I laughed so hard throughout the entire film and continued repeating the lines for the next 9 or so years.
I always find it surprising when people say they've never seen it, but I guess it's easy to see why people never got into it; it looks kind of dumb, looking back. That, and I think David Spade might be a joke of an actor to some people, kind of like how Nicholas Cage is to me.
