Review of The Emperor's Club (2002) by Anton P — 30 Aug 2007
I expected an easy film, basically, a film that is easy to emphathize with, will be easy to influence any human being very easily emotionally. But I found this film very different, it was a little different and it gave a sense of being fresh, afresh look on teachers as a whole, flawed and perfect, as they teach future leaders but are humans too, and to look at it from a poin of vew of humans.
It really broached a lot of questions about teaching and it was done in a very nice and, I might add, sweet manner too. I never felt it to be a lecture film like one reviewer said it to be.
