Review of The Emperor's Club (2002) by Diana W — 05 Apr 2008
This is a great moral teaching film, and the characters are real esp. the fact that Sedgewick did not change his attitude as he grew older, it shows that not everyone will turn out to be the best person at heart.
not only does it teach it's audience but it also has it's humourous sides esp. when we see the students of st.benedicts as kids, I thought jesse eisenbergs character was the funniest and he did it so well, all of the actors we're great.
Kevin Kline did another outstanding job, and at first I found his character a but annoying but I soon realised it was because I found him uptight and Kline played him so well that you didn't feel the need to love the character or sympathize with him.
