Review of The Emoji Movie (2017) by Troy C — 29 Sep 2017

The Emoji Movie is just what I expected, trash.

The animation is decent, but everything else sticks out like a High Five to the Pinky.

The story being unoriginal is an understatement to every person who saw better, the humor's as low-brow as you'd expect, the message is STUPID and the characters are either dull or hate-able.

I can see why people would wanna see this(The decent animation.), but then again, the movie has SO MUCH HATE that you'll probably just trust the critics and skip it.

I won't even recommend you to rage-watch it like I wanted to do, because there's barely anything to laugh at due to how stupid it is!

It just deserves a BURNING MEDALLION OF BADNESS and 1 star!

Story:1|10.

Animation: 6|10.

Characters:2|10.

Overall:3|10.

Also, there was a Hotel Transylvania short before the movie titled "Puppy" about Dracula getting his son a giant dog.

It's formulaic, the animation's horrible, the humor's usually low-brow and the characters are cliche, but there's ONE saving grace to this WHOLE SHORT.

The ending.

Just watch it.

And now that I've watched Minion Mowers, I have to say that they're actually pretty darn similar.

Think about it:

They're both short films about popular franchises who would get to their third installment(At the time Minion Mowers was released,DM3 wasn't out.)who come up before a milestone in their studio's careers(For better or for worse.).
