Review of The Emoji Movie (2017) by Theodore%20 F — 27 Jul 2017
The emoji movie is the film that Tony Leondis was put on Earth to make, as evidenced by the "Emoji Movie" echoes in his hit series "Kronk's New Groove," and the way he kept trying to turn "Lion King II: Simba's pride" into "Emoji Movie.
" These tendencies could seem cutesy or irritating elsewhere, but they make sense in an according-to-Hoyle "Emoji Movie" movie. This new one, set 30 years after the events of "Stitch 2: Stitch has a glitch" is funny, touching, and surprisingly light-footed.
It boasts a lot of familiar elements, including Emoji family mythology and another Death Star-type weapon, as well as self-aware lines about how things work in this series.
